What is WhenInDoubt? It's a battle cry. It's what your soul yearns for while the mind is restless or while the body is in pain. Perhaps you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. When you feel like you have no control or you are anxious about the unknown, what do you do?
For those who enjoy movement, hard breathing and sweat, a lot of times it's about fitness. Our souls feeds off those endorphins.
I know a lot of people who like to get in the zone on the treadmill. I also used to spend time running along the beach. When the heart and the lungs are pumping we feel free. What are we trying to free ourselves from? Well, as worry is a natural emotion sometimes we can worry so much that we get stuck in our minds. Have you ever felt like this? You get immobilized and just don't know what to do. This is why internal awareness is so key for our emotional balance. You got to be able to hear that battle cry come from within. If we can sustain a conscious effort on this, our health will benefit.
Don't forget that there are somethings that you just can't change. Building awareness to distinguish those things is paramount. When you encounter an obstacle that you have no control over, you just got to let it go. Acting on your battle cry will assist in the letting go process, but you have to make the choice to get out of your seat and move. This is when it's a good time to get outside. You can just start by walking outside, eventually you might find yourself exercising.
WhenInDoubt, hike, bike or just sit and breathe it out.
